Global Young Scientists Summit

19.01.2024

Researcher Dr. Julijana Cvjetinovic became the only representative of Russian institutes at the Global Young Scientists Summit (GYSS) in Singapore!
Together with nine Nobel laureates, Turing Award and Fields Medal winners, the program committee invited 350 talented young scientists from 35 countries, selecting only 16 of them to give presentations. In her speech, Julijana spoke about the amazing optical and mechanical properties of diatoms, which she studies at the Skoltech Biophotonics Lab.
Julijana also moderated the Physical Sciences - All Things Small section, which, besides her own speech, included presentations by colleagues from the Australian National University (ANU) and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), as well as a Q&A session.
